Typical role in a day:
This need is to help with everyday pharmacist functions while SME prepare for upcoming computer system upgrade to ScriptMed Cloud. This pharmacist role will learn order verification functions, and overall prescription workflow processes along with counseling patients and discussing with providers about prescriptions and order clarifications.
The main function of a pharmacist is to dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions. They also may conduct health and wellness screenings, oversee the medications given to patients, and provide advice on healthy lifestyles.
This role is a work-from-home setting in a call center driven, mail order pharmacy. Dispensing locations are located across the United States, and this role supports a remote order processing team to perform data entry, clinical prescription verification, patient counseling, and provider interactions.
Education/Certification:
Bachelors of pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy
Licensure
Registered pharmacist (RPh)
Must haves: valid pharmacist licensure, active
Nice to haves: experience in a mail order pharmacy, experience with scriptmed enterprise
