Job Description

Description: This position conducts home visits to ensure that clients’ needs are being met and supervises personal care services as performed by the Personal Care Aide. This person serves as back-up caregiver as needed, and provides weekend on-call support. This position also has responsibility for staffing and scheduling services for Assisting Hands. This position matches caregivers with clients and coordinates caregiver schedules, as well as is involved in extensive telephone work and interaction with caregivers, clients, and health care professionals.
Education: CNA with at least 2 years experience in Homecare
Reports To: Administrator
Primary Duties
Schedules/conducts home visits to ensure that caregivers are following the service plan and are performing their duties properly.
Meets with new clients to complete intake paperwork and provide orientation to services with Assisting Hands.
Provides hands-on care giving as needed in emergency situations.
Provides on-call support on rotation.
Conducts caregiver training classes, and training on the job as needed.
Works full time in the office to provide recruiting, staffing, and scheduling assistance.
Serves as the point of contact for clients, caregivers and case managers.
Makes sure that all cases are covered and arranges for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary.
Participates in occasional marketing activities such as health fairs, conference exhibits, etc.
Hours: Full time. 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday
