Students work with advanced educational software while receiving direct support in reading and writing from teachers trained in evidence-based methods.     What You Will Be Doing

    • Guiding students to establish and reach personal learning objectives, helping them develop into self-directed learners.
    • Delivering focused instruction in foundational literacy and social-emotional competencies with assistance from Reading Specialists.
    • Creating a classroom culture that promotes curiosity and resilience through hands-on, interactive learning activities.
    • Adopting and leveraging AI-driven educational tools to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for a technology-enhanced future.
    • Working alongside educators and counselors to address each student's distinct learning path, adjusting to their individual needs and preferences.

    Elementary School Teacher Key Responsibilities

    Lead the cultivation of independent learning habits and essential life skills for Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, establishing a foundation for both academic achievement and personal development.

    Basic Requirements

    • Able to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
    • College degree in any discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, sports, or comparable environments.
    • Demonstrated capacity to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching methods.
    • Enthusiastic about integrating AI and technology into educational practice.
    • Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.

    Nice-to-have Requirements

    These credentials will strengthen your application, but you should apply if you meet the core requirements listed above.

    • Degree or certification related to early childhood learning (education, child development, reading intervention, etc.)
    • Professional credentials or specialized training in early learning approaches such as CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
    • Background as a K-2 classroom teacher, literacy specialist, or reading coach with formal training or professional development in phonics and reading frameworks.
    • Prior work in environments focused on personalized learning and educational technology integration.

    Working with us

    This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
