We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team in Buffalo, New York. Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from posting job openings to onboarding new team members, ensuring an equitable and inclusive approach.
- Proactively source candidates through creative outreach methods, including community partnerships, job boards, and digital platforms.
- Organize and facilitate interviews, maintain clear communication with candidates, and assist hiring teams throughout the selection process.
- Oversee recruitment metrics and candidate pipelines using applicant tracking systems to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to expand talent pools.
- Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to promote the organization's values and mission within the workforce.
- Develop and maintain relationships with diverse communities to strengthen outreach and recruitment strategies.
- Provide support for workforce development programs aligned with the organization's goals.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and promote inclusive hiring practices across all recruitment activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in recruiting or HR, preferably within nonprofit or mission-driven environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, job boards, and sourcing tools.
- Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and familiarity with employment laws.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support administrative tasks.
