Exam Prep/ACT/SAT Tutor
Huntington Learning Center of Mt. Juliet is hiring part-time teachers/tutors to work 1:1 with high school students on ACT/SAT exam prep (English, math, reading, and science) and subject tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
We are seeking exceptional educators for ACT Prep who bring:
The need is specific for after-school, evening, and Saturday hours.
Paid Training: We offer continual training that even experienced professionals appreciate.
Students: Our full-time staff conducts all parent discussions, so you have no interaction with parents. All your focus will be on the students’ academics. As you track students' academic progress, you will see marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation. There are no discipline problems.
No outside work: Lesson plans will be available and no homework to correct, you just walk into the Center and begin teaching. Our full-time staff has everything ready for you.
Year-round flexible hours: Our afternoon, evening and weekend hours adapt to your schedule. Since no preparation is needed, it's an ideal part-time job.
At Huntington we offer children in grades K-12 individualized instruction in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT & ACT preparation. To ensure that our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors are required to go through initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum.
