Job Description

Lollipop Dental Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental practice that has helped thousands of families across Orange County for nearly 12 years. With seven locations in Placentia/Yorba Linda, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Cerritos, Long Beach, and Lake Forest. Lollipop Dental and its award-winning team has proven that it has one of the best and most competitive practices in the region. Its sister practice, Sweet Smiles Modern Orthodontics, is staffed by some of the best skilled Board Certified Orthodontists in the LA/OC area and is accompanied by an amazing team.


We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Public Community Relations Marketing Coordinator to join our Lollipop Dental & Sweet Smiles team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing community-focused marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our target audience, and foster positive relationships within the community. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for community engagement.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and community-focused Public Relations & Community Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the face of our brand at schools, community events, and other outreach opportunities, helping us educate families about oral health while fostering meaningful connections in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preschool presentations at least 4 times per week , often dressing as the Tooth Fairy to engage children and teach them about oral hygiene in a fun and interactive way.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, sponsorships, and outreach programs to boost brand visibility and strengthen relationships within the community.
  • Develop and implement community-focused marketing strategies to support practice growth and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, schools, local organizations, and other stakeholders to create partnership opportunities.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the practice at events, meetings, and public forums, representing our brand in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Create engaging content for the social media department, newsletters, websites, and print materials to promote community involvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including doctors, dental assistants, and scheduling coordinators—to ensure seamless execution of events and presentations.
  • Track, monitor, and report on community engagement initiatives and their impact.
  • Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials, contests, and internal/external campaigns under the direction of the Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in community relations, marketing, or public relations preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and diverse community audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a passion for community engagement and education.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
  • This is an in-office role; remote work is not available.
