Senior Network Engineer

About your role:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, install, and maintain the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the business.  You will work with other members of the networking teams to ensure network availability, performance and quality.  As well as collaborate at all levels to identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues.

What you’ll do:

• Work with various customers and stakeholders to engineer proper solutions and troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently.

• Lead coordination efforts with both technical and non-technical peer groups to determine requirements.

• Participate in on-call rotation to support sites after hours

• Document network designs and processes using collaboration tools, such as MS Teams and SharePoint, etc.

• Deploy new networks in business offices.

Experience you’ll need to have:

• Expert level knowledge in functions they support.

• Networking technologies at both L2 and L3 and all aspects of TCP/IP networking

• Wireless design, setup and deployment experience.  Including both Cisco and Aruba technologies.

• Cisco and Arista Switches.

• MPLS, SDWAN (Versa experience a plus).

• Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).

• Automation tools – python, scripting, ansible, etc.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Network certifications preferred (Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Juniper, Network+)

Salary Range

$82,000.00 - $141,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
