Description Robert Half is seeking a Property Accountant for a temp-to-hire position located in San Ramon, CA. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple properties, including journal entries and reconciliations. + Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes for managed properties. + Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports. + Conduct bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities. + Coordinate with property management teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data. + Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations. + Support year-end audit and tax preparation processes. + Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting. + Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms preferred). + Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS. + Thorough understanding of GAAP principles. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
